Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information NodeStreak ("we", "us") collects through www.nodestreak.com, how we use it and the choices you have. NodeStreak is based at M 17, Sahil Promenade, Block 3, Clifton, Karachi, Pakistan. For any privacy question, email hello@nodestreak.com.

This policy covers our website only. When we build or run systems for a client, the handling of that client's data is set out in our contract with them — see Security & data sovereignty for how we protect it.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you request a discovery audit through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name, phone number (optional) and the message you write. We also record the date and time you submitted it. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (for example from a search engine), their approximate location (country and city), device and browser type, and actions such as submitting the contact form or clicking an email, phone or WhatsApp link. Google Analytics does not give us your name or contact details.
• Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information for each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
• Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google.

We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't sell or rent personal information to anyone.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange and carry out your discovery audit.
• To follow up about the services you asked about.
• To understand which pages and content are useful, and to improve the site.
• To keep the website secure and prevent misuse.
• To meet legal, accounting or regulatory obligations.

We use your contact details only for the purposes above. We won't add you to a marketing mailing list without asking you first, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, and only as much as they need:

• Our website hosting provider, which stores the website, the contact form submissions and server logs.
• Resend, which delivers a notification email to our team when you submit the contact form.
• Our email provider, which stores the emails we send and receive.
• Google, which provides Google Analytics and Google Fonts.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If NodeStreak is ever reorganised, merged or sold, personal information may transfer to the new owner under the same protections.

International transfers

We are based in Pakistan and work with clients in Pakistan and the UAE. Some of our service providers, including Google and Resend, process data in other countries, including the United States. Where information is transferred, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect it.

How long we keep it

• Contact form enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client — client records are kept for as long as our contract and legal obligations require.
• Google Analytics data: up to 14 months, after which Google deletes it automatically.
• Server logs: for the period set by our hosting provider, typically a few weeks.

Cookies

The website itself doesn't set cookies. Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<ID>, to tell visits apart and recognise returning visitors; they last up to two years. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site will still work normally.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your information;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
• withdraw consent where we rely on it, without affecting anything done before;
• complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email hello@nodestreak.com. We'll respond within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are in the UAE, these rights include those under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, where it applies.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS, and access to contact form submissions is limited to our team. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will act promptly if a problem occurs.

Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. For significant changes, we'll add a notice on the website.
