Case study 05 · E-commerce

ZeonStem

ZeonStem makes hands-on engineering kits that teach children to think like inventors, each built around a real sustainability challenge. We built their online store and launch site.

::The brief

What they needed.

ZeonStem sells to two very different buyers. Parents want the right kit for their child's age and a fair price; schools want something that fits the curriculum they already teach.

The product is also more than a box of parts — there is a learning method, a companion app and a digital certificate. The site had to explain all of that and start building demand ahead of launch.

::The build

What we delivered.

01

Kit series by age

Three series — Smart Green for ages 10–13, Radar-X for 13–15 and AI Conveyor Belt for 15–18 — each with a starting price in rupees and the challenge it explores.

02

How it works

A four-stage walkthrough: define the problem, scan components to learn the science, build and measure real data, then submit for a verified STEM certificate.

03

Companion app

A section for the ZeonStem app — live project data, a learning journal and a view for teachers and parents.

04

For schools

A separate path for schools, with workshops that fit existing science and design-technology lessons and a demo request.

05

Early-access list

A pre-launch sign-up offering the first 50 families a permanent 20% discount.

::Why it worked

The thinking behind it.

Every decision on this build answers to the people the site is for. Here is the reasoning.

  1. 01Choose by age, not by spec sheet

    Parents don't compare sensors and motors. Sorting kits by age band, with a clear starting price, turns a technical purchase into a simple choice.

  2. 02Selling the learning, not the box

    Parents and schools are paying for what a child learns. Showing the four-stage method and the certificate up front makes the price about the outcome, not the parts.

  3. 03Two buyers, two doors

    Families shop for kits; schools need curriculum fit and a demo. Giving schools their own path keeps the family store simple and the school pitch specific.

  4. 04Demand before stock

    A founding-family offer gives early visitors a reason to sign up now. ZeonStem gets a launch list and a read on demand before committing to inventory.
